Fragments of Sonic Extinction

Fragments of Sonic Extinction (FOSE) is an ongoing artistic project exploring the disappearance of natural sounds due to climate change and biodiversity loss. Founded in 2022 by Kalas Liebfried, FOSE functions as a dynamic online archive, commissioning annual sound works by global artists. Each edition is accompanied by physical events, such as exhibitions, performances, concerts and broadcasting.
